Village Small Groups for Parents

Village Small Groups for parents provide a self-led space for fellowship, support and spiritual growth. Village One includes mostly parents of babies and preschoolers, and Village Two consists mostly of parents of elementary age children and older (with lots of overlap). Church Without Walls – Youth Service Opportunity

Church Without Walls is a ministry that reaches across typical social boundaries to create a community that is welcoming, nurturing and transformative. Our youth will be invited during our formation hour to make bagged lunch, then return at 12:30 when we will carpool to downtown Jacksonville to join our friends at Church Without Walls. We will attend their Sunday service and follow with serving them lunch! Mission House – Youth Service Opportunity

On the first Friday of every month, CEC Youth heads down to Mission House to prepare and serve dinner to our neighbors in Jacksonville Beach. Mission House empowers individuals affected by homelessness in the Beaches area by providing food, clothing, medical care and support services with an avenue to self-sufficiency. They’re a valued outreach partner to Christ Church, and in addition to ongoing financial support, we enjoy the opportunity to join in their mission each month. Singing Our Faith

Brette is the author of “Prayer is Good” and has found that making art and prayer cards for others is a tangible spiritual practice that can lead to greater wholeness for ourselves and others. Walking Through Holy Week
