Our Summer camps include music, performing arts, dance, and cooking. Each camp offers the safe, loving community of Christ Church while fostering a love for the arts. Choose the summer camp that is best for your child, or call the office for more information.
In our summer music camps, children explore their emotions with animals, colors and music! Delightful songs, puppets and interactive, colorful props will engage young musicians as they explore rhythm and melody through singing, movement, stories, games and percussion instruments. Music camps are led by our Director of Childrens and Middle School Choirs, Krystal Woods.
Musical Theater Camp
This camp generates the fun of a musical review which will culminate in a performance on the final day. We will explore theater games, enjoy crafts and a daily snack will be provided. Please provide any food allergies. Each child will have a singing solo and lines to memorize. Memorization at home, will be necessary. Directed by Barbara Roberts.
Led by Cordon Bleu trained chef, Jennifer De Rycker, the Nourishing Eats Summer Academy helps children, aged 7-15, learn to nourish their spirits and bodies through real food and fellowship. Each session we will travel through the regions of France, bringing farm fresh ingredients to our tables. Classes include; Kitchen safety techniques, regional culinary history, hands on cooking experience and a tasting lunch at the end of every class!
