Christ Episcopal Church School of the Arts presents Mr. Toad’s Wild Expedition! a witty musical romp for the entire family. With the generous support of the Mallory Family Fine Arts Fund, Writer / Director Jason Woods brings to life a new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s enchanting classic “The Wind in the Willows.” What begins as a peaceful spring day on the river is soon disrupted by Toad and his obsession with motorcars. While he loses control and endangers the residents along the riverbank, his friends, Mole, Rat, and Badger, attempt to protect Toad and his residence, Toad Hall, from the nefarious, dancing Weasels of the Wild Wood. An effervescent, multi-generational cast delight performing Mr. Woods catchy, charming tunes and Ashley Yarham’s energetic choreography. Tickets are $20. Performances begin April 26 and run through May 7.
