World War I brought about great changes throughout human history far beyond most people realized and anticipated. The course will examine those changes and how they led to war throughout Europe. Also, how the United States was drawn into this conflict. We will look at how unprepared we as a country were for WWI and lastly, the horrors of fighting in it will be discussed.
