Alcohol and Mom Culture
9:15 am - 10:15 am
You’ve seen the memes – alcohol has become a big part of “mom culture.” And studies show that drinking among women has increased dramatically during the pandemic. When does light social drinking become something more concerning? How can we maintain a healthy relationship with alcohol? What can we do if we need help stopping or cutting back? All women are invited to this important and judgment-free conversation. We’ll be joined by Deacon Priscilla Wodehouse, a leader in recovery ministry, as well as Hillary Davis, who will share her own story.
Feel free to invite friends – all are welcome. Please RSVP on the Facebook event or by emailing Catherine Montgomery.
This meeting will be in the Formation + Arts Bldg, Room 204. Masks are required. Nursery care for children age 4 months to 2 yrs is available with reservation (please email nursery director Jennifer DeRycker to reserve childcare).
