Wedding
Who May Be Married
  • The bride, groom, parent or grandparent are members of Christ Church.

  • The bride and groom are active members in their home parish.  They will receive counseling by clergy in their home parish and the clergy person involved in the counseling will provide a letter to Christ Church clergy stating that counseling is completed two months prior to the wedding.

  • All are required to commit to pre-marital counseling with the clergy member and to attending the parish marriage weekend.
Schedule A Wedding
  • Saturday church weddings may be scheduled at 11:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. No more than two weddings are planned each day. Generally, Sundays and major feast days are not available for weddings. Weddings are not scheduled during the ten days before and after both Christmas and Easter and are discouraged during Lent. There are no 7:00 p.m. weddings scheduled on All Saints' weekend, nor any weddings scheduled for the weekend of Pentecost when our Arts and Music Festivals take place.

  • Visiting clergy must receive permission from and consult with one of the parish clergy before a wedding can be scheduled.
Wedding Fees
