"We Will With God's Help"
Annual Giving 2012

Every Christian journey begins with Holy Baptism. In baptism we pass with Christ from death into life and we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and marked as Christ's own forever. This initiation into the Christian body ensures for us a full measure of God's redeeming grace. But before the saving waters flow over us, each must make a vow, a promise to worship God and participate in God's redeeming love by serving others. We make these vows by saying, "We will with God's help." We have chosen as the 2012 annual giving campaign theme "We Will With God's Help" as a reminder of why we give and to affirm our commitment to our God, our Church and to each other.

Christ Church strives to impact lives in ways that are very intentional, as well as transformational. To continue to be the Church, God needs us to be takes not just countless hours from faithful volunteers, but financial commitments as well. Put quite simply, the more money we have, the more we can accomplish. Your pledge means more can be fed at Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry, more can be nourished through worship, more can be comforted through pastoral care, more children can discover Christ through youth and children's offerings, and more can engage in formational studies.

This year Christ Church invites you to give with God's help. Every dollar is significant. No pledge is too small, for every pledge empowers our Church to serve both each other and those we may never know. Making a difference takes faith, prayer, and yes, even sacrifice. Giving is a trait innate in all of us that we do on a daily basis. During the annual campaign we invite you to give by making a faithful, prayerful financial pledge. It is time to celebrate again all the wonderful work Christ Church has done and will do with God's help. Rejoice in the spirit … believe in the call ... We will with God's help!
