Ministry of Mothers Sharing

MOMS, the Ministry of Mother's Sharing group - which is open to any and all mothers - is kicking off their fall schedule with two ways to fellowship: MOMS Journey and the Bible study Conversation Peace by Mary Kassian on September 5, 9:15-11:15 a.m.

We will also have two special activities after the sessions that have andede for all MOMS to atetnd. November 14, Making Blessing Cups, and December 5, Making of Advent Wreaths and Holiday Gathering (nursery will be provided for both events).

MOMS Journey

(Attendance is limited, pre-registration is required) September 5th-November 7th, 9:15-11:15 a.m. MOMS Journey will be facilitated by parish mothers who have been through the Journey themselves, Rhonda McMahon, Sarah Watkins and Tina Webster. Prayer Partners for the Journey will be coordinated by Julie Anderson (220-1984 or j.n.anderson@comcast.net). The objective of MOMS is to gather mothers (of all ages) to form a network of mutual spiritual support. As well as to provide a group experience of learning, praying and ministering to each other, introduce mothers to oppurtunities for personal and spiritual growth in a faith sharing group and to increase communication skills and the use of prayer rituals in the home. It is an 8 week commitment and the cost is $30 which includes all supplies, scholarships are available.Click here for the MOMS schedule.

 Conversation Peace

September 5th - November 7th, 9:15-11:15 a.m. Bible study will be led by Heather Fouts. Here's a women's study that really hits home. Mary Kassian masterfully presents the biblical principles to help women revolutionize their speech habits and improve their relationships by focusing on ways to positvely avoid sharing gossip, throwing negative barbs, or snapping sarcastic replies throughout everyday life. The member study book will follow along with weekly video sessions. The cost of the book and supplies is $15, scholarships are available. Contact Heather Fouts at 280-5666 or hwfouts@bellsouth.net.
