Adult Pilgramige to Bolivia, November 8-16

There are still spaces left on our adult pilgrimage to Bolivia, November 8-16. On this spiritual adventure to the poorest country in South America we’ll visit Amistad Mission, Amistad is an ecumenical partnership between North Americans and Bolivians which Christ Church has supported for more than ten years.

Amistad is made up of a Children’s Village (orphanage) in the city of Cochabamba, as well as a medical clinic, day care and school in Aramasi, a rural village in the high Andes.

We’ll be staying in the modest, yet safe and comfortable, accommodation of Amistad’s retreat house in Cochabamba. We’ll do a small work project at the Children’s Village, and spend time developing relationships with the children, especially those who live in San Francisco, the house that Christ Church’s outreach dollars support. We’ll spend a night at Aramasi and experience life as Quechua Indians have lived it for centuries. It will be a transformative week.

The cost – including round-trip airfare, ground transportation, room and board – is $1,725 per person, plus visa and immunizations. A $500 non-refundable deposit will secure your spot. To register by Friday, Sept. 26, please contact Terry Totman at 285-7390, ext. 231 or terrytotman@christepiscopalchurch.org.
