Christ Episcopal Church Foundation

Mission

The Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach Charitable Foundation was established in 1983 to support, enhance and continue the religious, charitable, and educational activities of Christ Episcopal Church and to support it, not only in the internal affairs of the parish and church, but also in Christian and charitable activities in the community.

Membership

The membership (Vestry) annually elects the Board of Trustees, which is comprised of no fewer than 18 and not more than 32 persons, plus the Rector , who automatically serves as Chairman.

Outreach

Each year, the Foundation sponsors a house tour, patron party, golf tournament and Shared Treasures estate sale to raise funds for charitable organizations in the community and for four-year Florida pre-paid college scholarships for deserving and economically-challenged students. Other funds are distributed for the ministries of Christ Church from endowments and guardianships based on instructions of the donor.

Shared Treasures is currently accepting donations of fine home furnishings, antiques, Oriental rugs, jewelry and more. The Shared Treasure sale will be in November. For more information or if you have something to donate, please contact Stacy Nash at 285-7390, ext. 235.

Currently the Foundation holds almost $3 million with committed gifts far exceeding this total.

Legacy Society

Established by the Trustees of Christ Church Foundation, the Legacy Society recognizes those who lives have been touched by the ministries of Christ Church and who have made a documented deferred or endowment gift to the Foundation. Behind every legacy gift to our Foundation is a story about how a family or individual has been blessed through involvement in the spiritual life and Gospel ministries of Christ Church.

There are several tax-advantaged ways to make a planned gift to the Foundation, including:
