Christ Church places great importance on being partners with parents in the spiritual development of children. Many classes and events focus on the growth of family spirituality and home activities that support that growth.

Family Covenant Retreat Weekend

Led by staff, this is a weekend in which families with children renew their ties by spending prayerful and meaningful time together.  This retreat is a time of renewal in which family members share in a spiritual journey in study, prayer, and covenant-making.  Activities include a cookout for all families, a hayride, other meals and a Eucharist. Guild of the Christ Child

A team of women support the baptismal day by making and providing baptismal banners as a symbol of the importance of this event in your baby's life. Contact: Mary Katherine Dean (249-1732)

MOMS (Ministry of Mothers Sharing)

Couples Study - "Men are like Waffles, Women are like Spaghetti," Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. CFC 208.

Bible Study - "The Frazzled Female," by Cindi Wood, Fridays, 9-30-11:30 a.m., CFC 203-205. Nursery available.

Stepping Stones

You know how stones strategically placed in a stream help you cross without getting your feet wet? That's what the Stepping Stones Program can do for you while navigating parenthood. Stepping Stones is a ministry dedicated to supporting parents through the developmental changes of growing children. This first session in the Steppingstones series provides instruction about baptism rehearsal for baptism, and suggestions about the role of parents as Christian teachers and leaders for their children.

 This special prepatory class for children's Baptism is typically offered the Wednesday before Baptism and provide a walk-through for the Baptism service.
