Icon Workshop - July 7 - 11, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Icon writing is an ancient painting technique in which the process and the finished work inspire prayerful meditation. This workshop, open to artists as well as those with no artistic experience, is led by well-known iconographer Teresa Harrison and includes the Eucharist, Gregorian chant, praying with icons, readings, lively conversation and a lot of step-by-step guided painting in prayerful silence. A cost of $400 includes instruction, all supplies, lunches and snacks.
