OverviewChristian Formation is the learning of all of us throughout our lives as we work to discover who God is in our lives. It involves the fellowship of the community, learning about the Bible, learning about the Sacraments and the structure of the Episcopal Church. It involves the work for Christ that we do in response to the work others have done to help us along the way and in response to God's overwhelming love for us. Therefore, we need to "continue in the apostles teaching and fellowship" as our baptismal covenant requires of us. Christ calls us to grow spiritually and to pass on what we know to others. Our classes encompass all aspects of faith and life and we try to offer both knowledge, community, instruction and growth through action. Our topics are presented on a rotating basis and include:
We offer these both to children and adults. We hope you will select a class and continue on your journey of Christian Formation. Please note that many of our classes begin in early September and continue through May. A shortened summer schedule provides more opportunities through June and July. |
