OverviewChrist Episcopal Church celebrates the Holy Eucharist in two liturgy styles: Rite I and Rite II. Rite I is a worship service that uses traditional worship language of the Episcopal Church. At Christ Church, Rite I is used at the 7:45 a.m. service. Rite II approaches the Eucharist as a more casual approach to worship, using modern language and incorporating celebratory music and singing throughout the service. Christ Church offers 12 worship services weekly, each serving different communities within the Christ Church family. Those interested in the more traditional style of worship, inspired by the singing of the Christ Church Chancel Choir or the children's choirs, would enjoy attending the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship in the church. Other worshipers looking for a more casual setting will find a vibrant, contemporary family service at 11:15 a.m. in the Christian Family Center, Room 208. For a smaller, more intimate and reflective locale, visit the 9:00 a.m. chapel service. Christ Church offers various worship service styles that appeals to everyone. Music is a major part of Christ Church worship services. From musical presentations by the children's choirs at the Sunday 9:00 a.m. to the adult Chancel Choir performances at the 11:15 a.m. service in the church, music has always been a valued asset in worship. While you and your family worship at any of Christ Church Sunday, Wednesday or Saturday services, younger children will find stimulating activity at the Christ Church nursery, which provides a safe, nurturing environment for children ages five years old or younger. In the nursery, your child will be engaged in age-appropriate Christian activities and cared for by professionals following HRS guidelines. Service Times
