Many devoted volunteers, lay staff and clergy guided by the Holy Spirit, are committed to welcoming, engaging and transforming lives to build God's kingdom. We minister to each other, the community and the world through a wide range of Christian Formation, Outreach and In-Reach ministries. Focusing on Christ and His work in the world encourages our spiritual growth and contributes to the special experience of worshiping at Christ Church. There is a worship service, a class, and a ministry at Christ Church to engage you and each member of your family in discipleship. And, there are many opportunities for us to gather in fellowship and connect with each other to form Christian friendships. Christ Church has been growing in size, in spirit, and in service opportunities since our first worship service on Christmas Eve 1951. We have responded by expanding and enhancing our ministries and campuses to meet the ever-changing and growing needs of our parish and the community. As the demographics of the community have changed, our congregation has grown. We have continued to serve long-time parishioners while welcoming and engaging newcomers with an increased number and variety of worship services, a highly regarded music and fine arts ministry, diverse Christian Formation offerings, a renowned preschool and childcare programs, and a commitment to outreach that has transformed lives in our community and around the world. Our ever-growing, ever-changing ministry is a blessing and a challenge - one that calls us to achieve our potential. In response to that call, we are in the planning phase of building a new Parish Center which will, along with additional parking, meet current and future parish needs for worship, Christian Formation and fellowship, as well as serve as a gathering place for the community.
