Sunday Morning Adult Classes

Our classes encompass all aspects of faith and life and we try to offer both knowledge, community, instruction and growth through action for both adults and children.  We encourage you to embrace this opportunity to grow a deeper understanding of God, this church and your own spirituality. Classes will begin for the fall on September 3.

This group discussion class examines the events of the day and relates the message to our weekly walk with God.

Christian Views on the News - Everette Street, CFC 201
Take a unique look at the Bible and our faith by examining each week a different topic taken from current news stories.

Parent to Parent - Deb Hardman, LCSW, CFC 108
Join Deb and the many parents who come to this book study for support, good counsel and family spiritual growth suggestions.  Currently they are studying the book, "Raising Cooperative and Self-Confident Children" by Francine C. Beauvoir.

Getting Acquainted with Christ Church - Frank & Mary Watson, CFC 204.  Newcomers will be welcomed and informed about our various ministries in this group each week. Staff members rotate each week in this revolving 6-week class that can be joined at any time.

Singles, Singles - Marsha Holmes, Alan Wade, CFC 205.  This discussion class welcomes all singles in the parish to join us for dialogue on the Sunday readings.

Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Faith in Community - Scott Burch, Chapel  Scott Burch, an experienced teacher, continues his Sunday morning class with a new study on "Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Faith in Community," by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. This class is a continuation of "Celebration of Discipline" curriculum and will explore prayer, study, meditation and spirituality. The book can be purchased at www.amazon.com. The class begins Sunday, April 20.
