OutreachFollowing Jesus' teachings, Christ Church parishioners take their ministries beyond the church property to reach out to others in need in the local community and to mission programs for other parts of the world. Christ Church Habitat for Humanity Build ProjectThrough our OUTREACH Ministry Christ Church has funded $40,000 to construct a new home with Habitat for Humanity. We need to contribute 1,200 man/hours of labor to build this home. Starting April 12, 2008 through August 15, 2008, on every Tuesday and Saturday we will work together as a team to help make this dream come true for a needy Jacksonville family. To be a part of this wonderful ministry you need to go on line to beacheshabitat.org and on the left side of the screen select "Volunteer". On the next screen you will need to follow the directi on for New Registration, Skills, Orientation, Liability Waiver, and then schedule yourself on the Volunteer calendar. The church office will be glad to help with your registration if you need assistance or you may also contact our project coordinator, Bill White, if you have any questions. His email address is: wcwjax@bellsouth.net or cell, 252-9862, or home phone, 223-4730. Click here to see photos of our Habitat builders.
