Solo Flight - A Ministry of Singles

Singles are an important part of Christ Church. Twenty-two percent of parish households have a single individual listed as "head of household." Solo Flight utilizes its five "gateways to ministry" to offer singles of all ages a variety of opportunities to connect with one another, serve the world, and grow spiritually. Whether you are single, divorced, or widowed, there's a place for you in Solo Flight. Come join us and together we'll soar.

Worship Gateway - Invites individuals to gather at the 5:30 p.m. service on the first Sunday of each month, and following worship orchestrates a "Dutch treat" at a local restaurant. This gateway also plans and executes Christ Church's annual Singles Sunday.

Social/Recreational Gateway - Organizes monthly social events, as well as "Solo Socials" at local "watering holes" each third Monday evening of the month.

Educational Gateway - Offers regular classes, courses and retreats addressing the specific needs of singles: spiritual, psychological, and everyday.

Outreach Gateway - Facilitates opportunities to reach out to those around us: at the beach, in the city, throughout the country, and around the world.

Divorce Recovery Gateway - Provides periodic series' of workshops, staffed with professional facilitators, to support men and women as they navigate the pain, heartache, and confusion of divorce.

July 15, Tuesday - Solo Flight Habitat Build Day: Join other singles constructing a Habitat house for a deserving family. There is something for all skill levels and no prior experience is required.
