Christ Church Youth Ministry is about students being able to experience the love of God in Jesus Christ, growing in community with others and meeting needs with God's love.

The Youth Ministry at Christ Church is specifically designed for the unique needs and world view of Middle School (6-8 grade), High School (9-12) and College Students

Programming

Each program piece is a part of a bigger picture and the pieces fit together and build off each other. As youth participate in the different program pieces, the picture of faith puzzle gets richer and richer.

Summer Youth Ministry

Summer Break is here and in anticipation of vacation schedules and extra free time, we have made some changes to the Youth Ministry schedule.  When you find yourself a little bored or in between out of town trips stop in for a visit. 

Sunday Summer mornings: Middle School and High School students meet at the Youth House. 10:15 a.m.

Wednesday Nights - Super Summer Fun! - June 25, July 16, 30, and August 13 - Middle School and High School Summer Hang-out Night at the Youth House from 7-9 p.m.

July 9 - Pool Party

Big Events

Big events are designed as a way for individuals to begin participating with the Youth Ministy through memorable events. Big Events include: pool parties, mystery trips, overnights, diocesan events, etc.

Large Groups

Large group ministry is about meeting others, becoming a part of the community and experiencing God's presence in a very real way. Large groups allow for community building to begin as relationships are formed within an atmosphere of love and acceptance. Separate Large Groups meet during the school year.

Middle School Large Groups - Sundays 4-6 p.m.
High School Large Groups - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Small Groups

Small Group Ministry is about developing a deeper sense of community. A deeper sense of community is developed by being connected to the small number of people week to week with the opportunity to share life and faith issues. Each group will be working with predesigned, interactive curriculum, lead by the same adult leader each meeting. Separate Small Groups meet during the school year.

Middle School Small Groups - Sundays 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

High School Small Groups - Sundays 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Outreach

Outreach is where we share the love of God in Christ with those in need.  We currently have a monthly outreach event at Mission House every first Friday of the month. We also have several outreach events scheduled throughout the year as well as summer mission trips.

Leadership

Leadership is for high school students who are looking foward to serving others and inviting them into the reality of God's presence and love. The leadership group will be preparing activities for HS large group as well as upcoming Outreach events.

High School Leadership meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month during the school year.

Church Leadership

Church leadership is a way for teenagers to participate in the life of the parish in a meaningful way. Opportunities include: Acolyte, Usher, contemporary music, Choir and Altar Guild.

Diocesan Events

The Diocese of Florida has several single day and overnight events. The Youth Ministry promotes and participates in several of these events a year as a regular part of programming. Events include: MS Overnight, HS Overnight, Breakout, Happening, Be The Church, Winter Weed and Summer Camp.
