More than mere walls and rooms, our new facilities will provide us with a home to continue to build our ever-developing, ever-changing ministry. The Parking Deck is Open!The access to the new parking deck will still be along Golf View Drive. The entrance on San Juan will not open for a few more months. If you need help, look for directional signs to the Parking Deck. T his summer marks the rounding of the corner and heading to home for our new parish center and parking deck. What seemed so far away, not so long ago is now present before us and we are making our plans to move into our new home already!There are a few key dates that are coming up, and, most important, a change to our parking programs that we want to make sure everyone is aware of and prepared for. Other Key Dates and Upcoming Events• The "old" parking lot: Over the next few months, after we open the parking deck, we will begin work on the older parking lot. This will occur in two stages. Signs will direct you to changes, but we will still be parking on site for all Sundays. • Parish Center Completion: We are on schedule for finishing the parish center at the end of August (on time and on budget, how often can that be said about a project!). Opening activities will take place around that time as we begin using the parish center. • Grand Opening: We will have a celebration for the parish center's opening in the fall of this year. 1. First service in the Parish Center will be Sunday, August 31. 2. Celebrate the opening of the facility on Sunday, September 7. 3. Parish Center dedication, with Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori will be Wednesday, Oct. 29. All traffic must enter from Golf View. The circle drive on Solana Road is available for Handicapped and Special Needs Parking only on Sundays.
