Richard S. Westbury, Jr

The Rev. Richard S. Westbury, Jr., Rector, was born and raised in North Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and received his Master of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. He has served in several churches in the Jacksonville area, including St. Paul's-by-the-Sea in Jacksonville Beach and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, where he served as rector for almost ten years. Rick became the Rector's Associate at Christ Church in 2001 and then became the third rector in 2005. He is the former Chair of the Commission on Ministry in the Diocese of Florida, served on the State of the Church committee, was a deputy from the Diocese of Florida to the General Convention, and recently was elected to the Diocesan Council for the Diocese of Florida. The Rev. Bob MorrisThe Rev. Robert L. Morris, Associate Rector, Pastoral Care and Seniors, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from West Virginia University and a Master of Divinity from The General Theological Seminary in New York City. He was ordained in the Diocese of West Virginia in 1973. After ordination, he served a mission congregation in West Virginia before becoming a member of the Community of Celebration, a religious order fostering renewal in liturgy and worship. Over the next 16 years, Fr. Morris served as Chaplain at Community houses in England, Scotland and Pennsylvania. During those years, he was also Curate at St. Mary's, Wargrave, England; Priest-in-Charge at The Cathedral of the Isles, Millport, Scotland; and Assistant at All Saints, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Following his Community years, Bob worked for a direct mail advertising firm and operated his own desktop publishing business. He joined the staff of Christ Church, Pittsburgh, in 1992 and was appointed Vicar of All Saints, Pittsburgh, in 1994. He was Associate Rector at St. Dunstan's in Houston, Texas from 1999-2004 and joined the Christ Church staff in December 2004. He and his wife, Cathleen, have two grown daughters, Clare and Hannah. The Rev. Dr. Ann J. Broomell, Associate Rector, Worship and Formation received a Masters of Divinity degree from Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Seabury Western Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL in Congregational Studies. She was appointed the first Deacon-in-Charge of a parish in the Diocese of Massachusetts, at St. Paul's Bedford, and was called to be the Rector of the Church of St. Asaph, in Bala Cynwyd, PA, becoming the first female rector on the Main Line west of Philadelphia. She comes to this parish from the Diocese of Easton where she served as Dean of the Cathedral. Mother Broomell chaired the Liturgy and Music Committee of the Diocese of Easton, has served on Education and Finance committees of each diocese in which she has served. She has taught contemplative prayer and Christian Formation for adults on the Diocesan level. She was a deputy from the Diocese of Easton to General Convention 2006 and served on the Program, Budget and Finance Committee of The Episcopal Church. She has two grown children, Sarah and John. The Rev.  Jo Hoskins
The Rev. Deacon Jo Hoskins is a Vocational Deacon and serves as the Director of Newcomers and Lay Ministries at Christ Church. Jo has completed Education for Ministry and the Diocesan School for Ministry. She previously served two years as Senior Warden and has been active in numerous ministries during her 18 years as a member of Christ Church. She describes her first career of 25 years as family facilitator (spouse and mother). She and her husband, Charlie, have two grown children, Ashley and Chad, and five grandchildren. The Rev.
