 Thursday, August 21 - A Night at the Movies featuring "Bruce Almighty." Soda and popcorn will be served. These movies are selected for adult viewing and discussion led by Ann Broomell at 7 p.m. in CFC 207.

Saturday, August 23 - Youth Ministry 6th Grade Itchetucknee Tubing Trip from 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. 6th graders and their parents are invited to float the Itchetucknee River to celebrate joining the Youth Ministry. Sunday, August 31 - The Reverend Dr. Thomas D. Walker, senior pastor from Palms Presbyterian Church will preach in all Sunday worship services in the church and lead the Rector's Forum at 10:15 a.m. in the church.

Sunday, August 31 - FIRST CONTEMPORARY SERVICE IN THE NEW PARISH CENTER AT 11:15 A.M. ON THE 2ND FLOOR! You won't want to miss this wonderful new beginning of our Parish Center ministry.

Sunday, August 31 - Food Bag Distribution in the courtyard. Food and donations are vitally needed at BEAM and St. Mary's Food Pantry. Please pick up a food bag  and return it September 7.

Monday, September 1 - The church office, preschool and Parents Morning Out Program are closed for Labor Day.

Wednesday, September 3 - High School Leadership begins in the Youth House from 7-8:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 4 - First Thursday Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. in the church. A light luncheon will follow in the new Parish Center on the first floor.

Friday, September 5 - MOMS Fall Kick-Off Social from 9 - 12 a.m. in CFC 203/205! All MOMS (Ministry of Mothers Sharing) will assist Mary Katherine Dean with Baptismal Banners and Fruit of the Spirit Day - bring your favorite book, DVD, or CD for others to view and get ideas!

Friday, September 5 - Youth Ministry High School trip to Orlando's Rock the Universe Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7. Cost is $160 plus moeny for food. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, August 20. Space is limited to sign up NOW!

Sunday, September 7 - RALLY DAY! Come join us at the San Juan campus for breakfast from 8-10:45 a.m. and a picnic lunch at noon in the new Parish Center. Plus tons of activities for the young and young at heart such as moon bounces, crafts, and yummy treats like cotton candy and snow cones!

FISH (fellowship in shared homes) will gather from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the new Parish Center.This event will allow us to meet members of other groups and celebrate the past year's FISH ministry, as well as provide an opportunity for prospective members to attend. Tuesday, September 9 - Women Connecting in Faith and Friendship at 6:30 p.m. at the San Pablo campus. The Rev. Ann J. Broomell will present "Discovering God through the Joy of Service."

Friday, September 12 - Family Fun Mystery! Family Connections invites all parents with children at home to enjoy a night out without them! Dine in the new Parish Center while the mystery unfolds around you. Search for clues, meet other parents, and solve the case over a lasagna dinner from 6 - 9 p.m. Look for tickets on sale in the courtyard on Sunday and in the church office during the week. Cost is $20 per person. The Christ Church Nursery will be open from 6 - 9 p.m. Suggested nursery donation is $15. For more information contact Kristi Koerner at 607-1030.

Sunday, October 5 - Blessing of the Animals! Bring your pets and stuffed animals to a celebration of St. Francis of Assisi with our pet-friendly worship celebration.

October 13-17 - See the Leaves at Kanuga! Join Christ Church seniors for the 3rd annual "See the Leaves" trip to Kanuga in beautiful North Carolina. Travel by luxury coach and stay at Kanuga Lake Inn. The all-inclusive price is $675 per person for shared accommodations and $795 for a single room. Thursday, October 16 - Beaches Churches Celebration of Life Prayer Service honoring breast cancer survivors, families and friends at 7 p.m. in the church.

Sunday, October 26 - Celebration Sunday: Embracing the opportunity to offer thanks to God with our gifts, we gather together on the special Sunday to kick-off our annual stewardship campaign.

Wednesday, October 29 - Parish Center Dedication and Celebration with The Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts-Schori and our Bishop, The Right Reverend Samuel Johnson Howard.

November 8-16 - Bolivia Pilgrimage! There is still room for you on the adult pilgrimage to Bolivia.
