Christian Formation, our life-long spiritual learning, engages us in the search to discover God’s presence in our lives. It involves the fellowship of the community, learning about the Bible, the Sacraments, the structure of the Episcopal Church, and our response to a world in need. We learn more about God in response to God’s overwhelming love for us.

Christ Episcopal Church believes that everyone is constantly being formed into a closer image of Christ. Therefore, we “continue in the apostles teaching and fellowship” as our baptismal covenant requires of us. Christ calls us to grow spiritually and to pass on our knowledge to others.

Our classes encompass all aspects of faith and life, and we offer knowledge, community, and growth through action. Our topics are presented on a rotating basis and include:

We offer these classes to both children and adults.  Our classes begin in early September and continue through May. A shortened summer schedule provides more opportunities through June, July and August.


Children and Youth

Our Nursery is staffed with a professional child care worker, who is appropriately trained and licensed to work with babies and toddlers.

We offer for our preschoolers a Montessori-based program called Godly Play.  This wonderful program gives our smallest members the opportunity to experience Bible stories in an imaginative and creative fashion.

Our older children and youth are included in intergenerational and age-appropriate programs combining Bible study, service learning projects, and worship and prayer experiences.

Adults

One of the delights of Christ Church San Pablo is our heart for hospitality.  We enjoy working together, learning together, worshipping together, and having fun together. 
A great tradition of Christ Church San Pablo is our First Sunday Breakfast at 9 a.m., when everybody is invited to come together for a great meal and time together.

We encourage you to be involved in Sunday morning Christian Formation programs, as well as asking us about other formal learning opportunities, on this campus as well as the campus in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Since we are “One Church – Two Campuses”, we’ve come up with a rather simple way to talk about our campuses.  “San Pablo” is, of course, where you are today; “San Juan” is the campus in Ponte Vedra Beach, since it is located on San Juan Drive.
