While many in our congregation have an Episcopalian background, a great number come from other faith traditions, or may be exploring their faith for the first time. To help introduce you to our worship community, we offer a five-week series of conversational classes:
Welcome Session, to get acquainted and give participants an overview of our church
Our Worship, to discuss the Episcopalian/ Anglican tradition, why we worship the way we do, and our different services
What We Believe, to introduce new members to faith, beliefs and the Book of Common Prayer
Getting Connected, to survey your interests and to invite you to share your time and talents with our community and beyond
Rector’s Forum, an opportunity to get to know Father Rick Westbury, our rector (the person in charge of our parish/congregation)
The series culminates with “Newcomer Sunday,” which celebrates newcomers as well as long-time members for their years of service.
